Entertainment Weekly reports that Hollywood is developing a movie adaption of the famous Dogs Playing Poker painting.

I don't know if this is retarded...or fucking brilliant!

I mean, Hollywood has already spewed out crappy adaptations of old TV shows, comic books, remakes of classic movies. So, I guess the only place to go after that is adapting paintings.

Can you imagine someone pitching one of these gems to a studio?

There's this apple, you see, and she was the last to be picked off the tree; people always underestimated her because she's a quirky Meg Ryan type. Then, through a series of hilarious mishaps and misadventures, they finally meet up again in the studio of an artist who paints still lifes. We can call it 'Fruitless in Seattle'."
