New York Comic Con

Got It, cary grant, Lil Attila, Indy, Tyranny, Jaws, WTF, Sleepy Hollow, Donuts, Peas, Venture Stupid, Hemingway, Me, Intellect, Cookies and Chocolate
So, I just realized that the NY Comic Con is coming up in a couple of weeks.

Is anyone planning on going this year? I won't be able to, but there was one piece of merchandising I was hoping to get. So if someone is going, can I give you money to pick it up for me?

I was going to go, but have decided to not spend the cash on a table this year (too much $$$) and can't justify the cash for general admission as I tend to just wander around going "want that, want that, oooohhhh I really want that" and slapping my hand away from the credit cards in my wallet.

Well, there was this:

Indiana Jones Artifact Crate Paperweight

Price: $35.00 USD each
Limited Edition: 3000 Pieces.

Release: New York Comic Con Exclusive
- from April 18 till April 20, 2008.

3 collections:
Each crate features a detachable magnetic whip and fedora, a removable crate lid and rubber snakes.

Collections are randomly packed. Every crate will contain one of three artifact collections:

• Collection 1 includes:
the Golden Idol and Temple Tablet.
• Collection 2 includes:
the Sankara Stones and Holy Grail Cup.
• Collection 3 includes the Crystal Skull.


Also there is an exclusive Flash Gordon comic book and a new Dresden Files comic book I wanted to pick up.

See, and here I am now tempted to spend money on admission just to spend more money on getting one of those crates for myself.

Seriously bad idea for me to go to the con when my intent is anything other than self promotion. :-)
