Me
So there's this website that asks you to fill out a few prompts, and then takes your responses to create a bad imitation of Hemingway's prose. Yeah, I know, it's probably only interesting to a Hemingway and literature dork like myself, but it still gave me a chuckle.

So, here's the one that I created:

Bad Imitation Hemingway.

It was dusk. So this is how it is, this is how it always happens in the dusk. Obscenity your dusk. With my last 50 deutchmark I purchased some true and honest mojito; I took a pull from the bottle. It was good. It burned my mouth and felt good and warm going down my esophagus and into my stomach. From there it went to my kidneys and my bladder, and was good. I remembered then when I last saw Thomas Mann who was still a damn fine writer. It was in Madrid and we looked out the windows at the bare trees and drank mojito in the dusk. It was dusk and had been dusk for some time.

Huh. I didn't know Deutschemarks were negotiable in Madrid. ;)

Oh sure they are. They're the EU, now, baby. Everything's negotiable. ;-) It's one big party!

Heh heh, that's the problem with these Mad Libs style generators...you don't know how they're going to use you're input, and many times it doesn't make sense. But, that's the fun I guess.

Ha! But since post-EU-incorporation, they use only Euros--there's no such _thing_ as a Deutschemark post-EU!

My nitpick-fu stronger than your nitpick-fu! ;)

Ah, but if this story takes place in the 20's, it could be possible.

No it couldn't. The 1920's began with the Papiermark as Germany's base unit of currency, which was replaced in 1923 by the Rentenmark (named for the issuing Rentenbank, or national pensions bank), which was itself replaced in 1924 by the Reichsmark, which remained in use until 1948, when it was replaced in West Germany by the Deutsche Mark, and in East Germany by the Mark Der DDR, or Ostmark ("Eastmark"). So no such thing as a Deutschemark in the 1920's.

Three snaps in a Z formation, bee-otch! ;)

It was evening. So this is how it is, this is how it always happens in the evening. Fuck your evening. With my last 50 pesos I purchased some true and honest rum; I took a pull from the bottle. It was good. It burned my mouth and felt good and warm going down my esophagus and into my stomach. From there it went to my kidneys and my bladder, and was good. I remembered then when I last saw William Shakespeare who was still a damn fine writer. It was in Paris and we looked out the windows at the horizon and drank rum in the evening. It was evening and had been evening for some time.

... It put "obscenity" for mine too... I guess that part is broken... so I inserted it myself. What was yours supposed to be?

It was supposed to be "bullshit."

So, yeah, "bullshit your evening."

???

hm, yeah, "bullshit your evening" DOES sound kinda funny...

"bullshit your mother" however...

HA!!!

LMFAO!

You can bullshit your friends, you can bullshit your mother, but you can't bullshit your evening. ;-)
